Her series “World Riddle” merges scientific illustration with imagined experiments and speculative forms of knowledge, constructing a universe in which plants, laboratory equipment, and the human body are intertwined in processes of extraction, transformation, and emotional induction. Alongside these conceptual investigations, her painterly work delves into the human figure and its relationship with the environment. 

Elaheh’s earlier work revolved around human interactions and social gatherings. They gradually evolved into studies of solitary figures in nature, initially clothed, later nude, whose presence speaks to themes of agency, shame, and liberation. Her oil paintings, marked by their luminous textures and ghostly layering, present playful, unguarded bodies that resist objectification and suggest a deeper embodiment of self-determined expression. Her latest works, done in delicate watercolor, pencil and subtle gouache, takes a direct approach to observation and recording, only to revert back to an elusive universe almost parodying scientific discovery within the limitless confines of a white lab-like environment.

the series, «silkscreens», has taken place when the iranian art market is experiencing significant disruption. in collaboration with artists currently based in iran, edition 404 produces limited silkscreen prints. this series operates on a fully non-profit basis, and all proceeds from sales are transferred to the artists. all artworks, including their format, size, and price, are determined in consultation with the participating artists.

all editions are printed by silkpress in basel, and each artwork is produced as a numbered, limited-edition silkscreen print.
