Flowers are fleeting symbols of beauty, loss, and remembrance. Blooming in silence, they fill the void and become visual memories.
In this series, through the repetition of floral imagery I explore the connections between decay, memory, and representation. Flowers stand silently, caught in a moment between presence and impermanence.
Beneath this repetition lies a quiet contemplation of time and mortality. A flower, while beautiful, is inherently fragile; yet, in its fragility, it gains deeper meaning.
the series, «silkscreens», has taken place when the iranian art market is experiencing significant disruption. in collaboration with artists currently based in iran, edition 404 produces limited silkscreen prints. this series operates on a fully non-profit basis, and all proceeds from sales are transferred to the artists. all artworks, including their format, size, and price, are determined in consultation with the participating artists.
all editions are printed by silkpress in basel, and each artwork is produced as a numbered, limited-edition silkscreen print.
Her works explore the fragility and delicacy of natural phenomena and their analogies with human experience. As so, her practice becomes a study of integrity in the bodies of things, and how an object’s totality is defined and perceived within its structure. Often inspired by altered photographs, her pieces employ meticulous techniques that reference the realistic qualities of photography. She also engages with ecological and social themes, particularly in her collaborative installations.
